Year 9 students will be having their vacination for Meningococcal, Diphtheria, tetanus and polio in school on the 18th of July 2022

Year 8 are having their HPV immunisation on 31st of March. You would have received an email with the online consent form. The consent form needs to be completed by Monday 28th March.
HPV vaccination catch-up clinics are available for Year 9 and Year 10 students who did not receive their vaccination at school. Year 9 students 1st dose HPV will take place in school on Tuesday 1st February, you do not need to do anything as we have their consent forms.
Year 10 students will be having their 2nd dose HPV on this date too, again you do not need to do anything as we have their consent forms too
If your child missed the Flu nasal spray and you would like them to have the vaccine please see attached letter from the School Immunisation Team.

The Immunisation Team are able to offer the Meningitis ACWY and Diphtheria, Tetanus and Polio (Td/IPV) vaccinations to any Year 10 students who have still not received them. Clinics are running outside of school hours across the region. Please contact the Immunisation Team directly on 01275 373104 to make an appointment.

Message from the immunisation team for Year 9
The Immunisation Team are still able to offer the first dose of the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination to any Year 9 students who have still not received it. Clinics are running outside of school hours across the region. Please contact the Immunisation Team directly on 01275 373104 to make an appointment. (Please note if your child has already received the first dose the second dose will be given in school in the next academic year therefore you do not need to contact us)

Year 9 MenACWY/DtP vaccinations
On Thursday 6th May the school immunisation team will carry out the Year 9 MenACWY/DtP vaccinations. The consent forms and leaflets we be given to your child before the Easter Holiday.
Year 10 girls who missed their second dose of the HPV vaccination
The current Year 10 girls missed their second dose of the HPV vaccination last year due to the Covid-19 lockdowns. Community clinics have been run to try and catch-up with as many students as possible.
The School Immunisation Team will be coming into school on the 15th of March for the remaining students.
We have consent forms for the students that we need to see.
Update from school nurse team if your child did not have the Flu Immunisation due to pork gelatin. They now have Gelatin free Immunisation. Please see attached document.
