Nursery

At Bridge Learning Campus we understand and value the importance of a child’s learning journey within our Nursery. We know how important these years are, to build on the child’s existing understanding, knowledge and skills, but to also ensure they are ready, by the end of their time in Nursery, to enter Reception as confident and resilient learners. The children’s welfare is of the utmost importance to us at BLC so time is prioritised for us to get to know the children as individuals to support their learning and development.

In Nursery we provide a range of exciting and stimulating learning experiences, both within and outside the classroom. The children explore their learning through practical opportunities in their free play as well as through teacher led sessions. The curriculum in Nursery covers all the areas of learning within the Early Years and Foundation Stage, including early reading skills, early writing skills and early maths skills. Our students also learn through an Enquiry based curriculum, where children learn the skills involved in a variety of ‘States of Being’, for example, being an Engineer or a Musician or an Author. The learning in our Nursery is a solid foundation for children and staff to build on as they enter their Reception year at school, supporting the statutory framework changes from September 2021.

We offer both full and part time nursery places. Please contact join@blc.school for more information.
