Our fabulous library mural was made by the children in Key Stage Two during a week with an artist in residence. This mural is in memory of Ms Tiffany Tovey, a much missed wonderful Year 5 and Year 6 teacher, who taught at BLC for many years, leading English, with a passion for reading.
The first image shows the finished mural. Each part of if represents a link to Ms Tovey and BLC. Her favourite flowers were sunflowers, the back ground design is called Tiffany Glass, the two children at either end represent the children at BLC and of course, the books represent reading.
The images at the bottom highlight the process from start to finish.
