At the end of every academic year, the children in Y6 are invited to take part in Y6 camp. Many children take up this opportunity and are able to experience activities, often for the first time.
This year, the children stayed at Mendip Youth Centre, which is owned and operated by Mendip Activity Centre. It’s based in the heart of Cheddar, within walking distance of Cheddar Gorge and the wider Mendip Hills.

The children stayed for four nights and five days. During their time there, they undertook many activities
- Rock climbing
- Canoeing
- Tobogganing
- Assault Course
- Caving
