We are delighted to congratulate our students on their GCSE results this year. Their achievements are a testament to their determination, resilience, and commitment to learning throughout their time with us.
As a school, we are especially pleased to have seen increases in pass rates across all subject areas, including a 12% rise in students obtaining English and maths 9–4 and a 6% rise in those securing 9–5, compared with last year. These improvements reflect the hard work of our students, the dedication of our staff, and the support of families and our wider community.
The importance of excellent attendance is also clear in this year’s results. Among students with 95%+ attendance, 65% achieved English and maths 9–4, 36% achieved English and maths 9–5, and 4% achieved English and maths 9–7, demonstrating the strong link between attendance and academic success.
