An extended school is one that provides a range of activities, often beyond the school day, to help meet the needs of its pupils, their families and the wider community.
Bridge Learning Campus offers a varied range of activities across the campus including:
Homework Support, play/recreation, sport, dance, music/drumming, arts and crafts, cookery and other special interest clubs.
There is evidence that extended services can help to:
- improve pupil attainment, self-confidence, motivation and attendance
- reduce exclusion rates;
- better enable teachers to focus on teaching and learning
For all club enquiries please email enquiries@blc.school or contact us on the main school number.
