Campus Meals

This week at TLT, our students met with Alice from the HR department. Alice was the opening speaker for the session and gave the group a quick rundown of her job role, and how she had worked her way up after leaving school. The first task was around CVs, and whether anyone knows what one was. A good show of hands in the group was seen, but no one had ever started one themselves. Keeping this in mind, they were then given a CV to review from an employer's perspective and had to write down the key things that stood out, and whether they would be relevant to be included. The students then prepared their own CVs, thinking about what was discussed.The final task was a personal timeline, with where they would like to be at certain stages of their life.
