Teaching and support staff inspire knowledge and confidence. Our pastoral team create a tight support network around mental health and anxiety issues. With established structures firmly in place for safeguarding, first aid, E-Safety, and anti-bullying, all staff work tirelessly to empower each child to take up their place in the local and global community.
Our school day is designed to get the best out of our different age groups during lessons. Timings vary between the primary and secondary school, with an extended day for Year 11 to allow for individualised GCSE support.
At lunch time and after school there are opportunities to join a variety of clubs, benefit from the dedicated IT suite and music practice rooms or take the opportunity to get involved with school council and other community-focussed activities.
We have high expectations of our students to be hardworking, polite, well-mannered and business-like in their appearance and attitude to learning, which includes high standards when it comes to uniform.
Our uniform supplier is Monkhouse, East Street, Bedminster, Bristol.
“Trustees, governors and school leaders have maintained a relentless focus on school improvement.”
At lunchtime and after school, there are opportunities to get involved in sports, art, music, film, dance, nature and cookery club, to name just a few. We also run a breakfast club which you can attend free of charge, where we eat together and take part in games and activities.
